This Merlot wine has a dense boysenberry hue with notes of wet earth, cassis, crème brulé, cocoa, and black spice. The palate has a discernable acidity to it that gives this wine a sense of life on the tongue. Dark flavors of brambly mulberries, fig jam and wet stone rest firmly on the tongue and acquiesce to a cohesive finish of roasted coffee beans, dried forest fruits, and chocolate. Upon opening, this wine needs some time to breath which will allow the aroma and flavor to become more profound.
