Winemaker Comments

This wine is an enigma. The nose comes across with strawberry jam and lovely honeysuckle aromas. Based on the sweet lushness of the nose, one expects an off-dry palate but this wine is much more crisp on the palate than the nose might lead you to believe. Flavors of bright berries, spice and blood orange linger with lively acidity on the palate, making this wine very refreshing to drink. This wine is a great transition wine for people who prefer sweeter wines and would like to experiment with drier wines. Perfectly at home on the patio or in the dining room, this wine is great for picnics, cookouts and summertime meals.
